This is a piece of red oak surrounded by poplar in a couple of the photos and African limba in the others. In the middle an image of the state of North Carolina has been etched out. In that space is rust-metallic-colored epoxy resin. Thus what you have is a strikingly pretty and very unique image of your state!

There are other options for the color of the resin if you don't like rust-ish. Be in touch if you want to make changes to either the state or the color wood or the resin.
It is approximately 14" wide, and hangs on a wall.
