This elegant frame fits an 8x10 photograph. It's meant to hang on the wall using the wire on the back. It has a subtle, hand-rubbed lacquer finish. This frame looks like it was made by a machine, but I spent three-and-a-half-hours making it by hand!
Obviously there are three versions made so far (the ones with the clouds and with the flower are made of black walnut wood, and the one with no photo is made of lyptus). They have different routed characteristics (the edges). All can be hung vertically or horizontally.
The one with the flower looks a little hazy because the thin plastic film on the front and back and can simply be peeled off (this is why it looks a little hazy at this time). These have sold, but If you wish for me to make one for you, please send over any specifications you have via email (typically no extra charge for specs), such as type of wood (yes I can make it with any one of twenty woods). I could also include an 8/10 photo I have taken if you wish. Let me know if you wish me to create a thing on the back that allows the frame to be placed on a table or desk and I will do so.
Note this frame is made with plexiglass, which should last forever; however you could replace it with glass from some other frame or that you bought online if you wish. It is impossible to tell visually if it has glass or plexiglass, in fact. However, if the plexi gets any unsightly scratches in the first year, I am happy to mail you a new piece.
