The look of black cherry, black walnut, and black locust is second to none. And these woods retain their color well over time, unlike some of the red, purple, orange, etc. colors of woods. In fact, cherry gets more beautiful over the years! Also there is a little red oak in the clock.
This classy clock has two versions so far, and both have sold. If you wish for any alterations to the piece you would receive, please be in touch. Either version (or a third version) could easily be a legacy item to pass down through the generations.
The height is about 10" and the width about 10" as well. It has a lacquer finish and features unbreakable plexiglass. The quartz clock movement uses a AA battery and is accessible from the rear.
On the one with the round, birch-colored clock face (with the numbers on it), I bought that face, FYI.
