This unparalleled wood figure is that of canary wood, a West African import, sustainably harvested. The handles are aluminum and the feet are rubber. Food safe finish. The dimensions are 12" x 17". Also has a sleek edge treatment due to some careful routing by yours truly!
Please note that canary wood does turn a bit darker and less vivid in color over time. Keeping it out of direct sunlight helps, and after a couple washes applying some more oil or wax. However, the figure (the grain design) will remain permanently. Even with a more brown hue, this wood is about the most striking I know of.
I do have to charge quite a bit for shipping because I need to use a very large box and plenty of padding.
