Since each piece of wood used in a project requires cutting, sanding, jointing, and gluing, the more pieces--the more work! Then you've got cutting it into a circle, sanding, putting an edge on, affixing the turntable, and finishing three times. Thus these come at significant effort, but I don't think I overcharge, either. Polyurethane and shellac finish.
For this price, you're looking at a 16" Susan. I could do anything from 12" to 20", priced accordingly. Be in touch if you want this style in another size.
Will hold about as much as anything you could put on it that is food-related! Use a trivet if it is a hot pot or pan.
